25 Most Dangerous Animals of 2017

#23 – Sea Wasp Box Jellyfish

We all love to swim in the ocean and sometimes we do forget about the dangers that lurk in the deep. One of the these threats are sharks (duh), but there are even more subtle and deceptive dangers that we often forget – jellyfish.

Not all jellyfish are dangerous, but the Sea Wasp Box Jellyfish has sometimes been referred to as “the world’s most venomous creature”. If you get wrapped by several of these jellyfish, you are doomed to die. The venom contained in the tentacles of Sea Wasp Box Jellyfish contains enough venom to stop your heart in just three minutes.
