If you need a spicy cocktail to warm up your night in watching a movie and avoiding the cold, check out this fresh spritz from the Sundance Film Festival. Hollywood celebrities have gathered in Park City, Utah, for an annual celebration of independent film, winter sports, and an excuse to wear winter coats.
Stars like Maggie Cyllenhaal, Emma Roberts, and Priyanka Chopra were spotted at the Grey Goose Blue Door pop-up bar where the vodka distillery provided this year’s signature drink: the Main Street, named after the town’s central thoroughfare. While it’s not the most evocative title for a snazzy new cocktail—we assume that the Sundance was copyrighted—it’s the perfect drink for a warm night in with a hot new flick. Or reruns of Friends. We don’t judge.
1 ½ ounces Grey Goose Vodka
½ ounce St. Germain
1 ½ ounces pineapple juice
1 ½ ounces soda water
1 cinnamon stick
You will need a cocktail shaker with ice, so don’t buy the ingredients unless you can mix it properly when you get home! (We don’t judge.) Throw some ice in the shaker, add vodka, St. Germain, and juice. Shake and strain over ice. Top up the glass with soda water. Finish with a cinnamon stick and you’re done. Encore!
