#10 – Lobster Moth Caterpillar
Not looking like your traditional caterpillar, this one has a tail almost that resembles that of a lobster tail. In actuality, it’s just a swollen abdomen that curves at the end.
When the lobster moth caterpillar is incited, it spreads its front legs and curves its head back, and at this point it may spray some formic acid. When it becomes a moth and is threatened, it can simply fly away.
