#21 – Pharaoh Hund – $3,000 on average

Although the name of this dog breed might have you think that it somehow is connected with Ancient Egypt and the pharaohs, the truth is that the Pharaoh Hound doesn’t have any connection with Ancient Egypt at all. This dog breed originates from Malta where it is used as a family pet and a pet for hunting rabbits.

This dog is known for its graceful, elegant appearance as well as its strong build. The owners of this breed describe their Pharaoh Hund as highly-intelligent, sometimes stubborn, and independent.  If you want to buy a Pharaoh Hund, keep in mind that you would have to pay at least $3,000 for it and that this dog is very hard to be found for sale. Just don’t buy this breed if you plan to keep them inside because they want to be outside.
