#10 – Goblin shark

The goblin shark has a distinctive nose, one that is flat and long and often resembles that of a sword. Its jaws can be extended outward, but normally its kept near the underside of its head. In terms of its teeth, it can have anywhere from 35 to 53 on top and 31 to 62 on the lower row.

They can grow to 10 to 13 feet long in length (3 to 4 meters), but they can grow much larger. Goblin sharks can be found in depths around the world exceeding 330 feet (100 meters) with adults living even deeper than juveniles.
