Phronima sedentaria is a types of amphipod shellfish that lives in oceans up to depths of 0.6 miles or 1 kilometer. Females can grow up to 1.7 inches long (or 42 millimeters). Males, on the other hand, grow to only 0.6 inches long, or just 15 millimeters.
