#21 – Siphonophore

Siphonophores are unique animals – although it looks like a larger organism, it’s actually comprised of individual anmials called zooids. Each zooid specializes in one function and so they wouldn’t be able to survive on their own. The best way to think of siphonophores is to think of the human body itself. While the organs (like zooids) come together to survive, they wouldn’t be able to survive on their own.
