#19 – Uganda

The official name of Uganda is the Republic of Uganda. Uganda is a country located in East Africa. Uganda is a landlocked country and the total area of Uganda is 241,038 km2, making it the 81st biggest country in the world. It is estimated that over 37,000,000 people live in Uganda and its capital city being Kampala.

Uganda has, for long period of time, been one of the poorest countries of the modern world. It has been estimated that 38 percent of the Ugandan population live below the poverty line. The GDP per capita of Uganda is only $650.
