Meghan Markle and Prince Harry delayed their honeymoon and went back to work after the wedding, focusing on their first royal engagements as the newly minted Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We’re sure that, despite their commitment to the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan want to get away from the cameras for a few weeks! A new source has told TMZ that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to honeymoon in Jasper National Park in Canada.
Jasper National Park is situated in the stunning slopes of the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. According to rumors, Harry and Meghan are heading to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, nestled among countless crystal-clear mountain lakes. They’ll stay in the 6,000-square foot Outlook Cabin, sometimes called the “Royal Retreat.” It’s a fitting destination for the royal newlyweds, as Jasper National Park has also hosted King George VI, the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth, and her husband Prince Philip. It’s also located in Canada, a part of the British Commonwealth!
To be fair, we have to take this report with a grain of salt. Before the wedding there were rumors that Harry and Meghan would honeymoon in Namibia—another spot famous for previous royal trysts. Either way, we hope that the Sussexes take some time off soon and enjoy their wedded bliss—they have a lifetime of royal appearances ahead of them.
