1. Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji
To be fair, you’ll probably never come across anything like the Poseidon Undersea Resort in Fiji. This is the world’s first and only underwater resort. Located in Katafanga Island in Fiji, the Poseidon was conceived by the president of the U.S. submarine Inc., L. Bruce Jones. It’s meant to give vacationers once-in-a-lifetime experience of coming up, close and personal with the creatures that exist in the seabed.
The forty feet under the sea resort offers one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, but in the most unconventional environments ever. Imagine spending a night in lavishly styled aquatic-themed rooms where all types of fishes including sharks and other creatures of the sea are pressing against the wall all under your close watch. If that doesn’t send cold chills down your spine, then the Poseidon is the place to be. It’s like sleeping in a giant aquarium or relaxing in a gigantic fish bowl surrounded with some of the world’s most exotic creatures.
